TAPPA Awards Banquet
Monday, December 8, 2008 at 09:17AM Well, now it's official and it's over. Another year of competition against some of the best photographers in the country. It wasn't easy, and there were some ups and downs along the way, but here are the results for the Tampa Area Professional Photographer's Association 2008 Awards.
These awards are for FIRST place in the given category throughout the year:
Commercial Category -- Aaron Lockwood
Storybook Category -- Mitchell Pedersen
Electronic Imaging Category -- Brian C Idocks
Portrait Category -- Brian C Idocks
Unclassified Category -- Brian C Idocks
Social Function Category -- Brian C Idocks
The most prestigious award is the Tampa Area Photographer of the Year. To earn this, you must excell in competition, attend meetings and participate in educational as well as service oriented activities. There are only 9 people in the history of TAPPA to earn this award. Only 2 have earned it more than once.
The 2008 Tampa Area Photographer of the Year is:
